The School of Nursing, Science and Health Professions is now accepting applications for fall 2011 for its innovative nuclear medicine technology program. The full time program is 3 semesters (Fall, Spring, Summer) and consists of clinical and didactic instruction, beginning in September of each year. Students who successfully complete the program are awarded a certificate from Regis College and are then eligible to sit for the national certification exams offered by the Nuclear Medicine Certification Board (NMTCB) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The didactic and clinical education offers students the knowledge and skills necessary to become a competent Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Clinical education occurs at various hospitals and medical centers in Boston and the surrounding areas that offer experiences through a competency-based model using state of the art equipment such as SPECT/CT and PET/CT. Regis College has a rich history and excellent reputation as a provider of education for healthcare professionals.
