Students learn how to produce logos, editorial, advertising, and technical illustrations. In addition, our students learn digital photography, including commercial photography and photo manipulation and correction. Computer Publishing Program This nine-month program is designed to prepare students for employment in print shops, publishing companies, newspapers, magazines, and in-house technical publications or communications departments. Graphic designers create the images you see in catalogs, advertising, brochures, newspapers, and web pages. A technical illustrator/publisher creates, designs , and draws illustrations for technical publications (manuals) used by industry or the general public to assemble, operate, or maintain equipment. The computer publisher also creates visual aids, charts, graphs, and produces page layouts for technical manuals, catalogs, and brochures.
