Completion of this competency-based program results in teacher certification in General Special Education and Learning Disabilities, and a Master?s degree in Learning Disabilities . This advanced program provides opportunities to develop professional skills, knowledge, and competencies in relation to the education of children and adolescents with learning disabilities. The program culminates with a full-time internship in a school-based setting working with students identified as learning disabled, while being mentored by a teacher with certification in Learning Disabilities .
