The MLS program recognizes the value of basic science and general education preparation as well as professional stratification. Therefore, the curriculum is designed to allow students to complete pre-professional science and general education course work before commencing with the rigor of the MLS professional sequence. Additionally, the curriculum has been designed to be MLT friendly in that the professional sequence is divided into 2 levels allowing for a better transfer of courses and advance placement credit for the certified MLT professional.
