We offer: A Multidisciplinary Curriculum The Women's Studies major offers both freedom and opportunity. Following the completion of two foundational courses - Women and Society and Feminist Theories - students select six courses from a variety of disciplines and then create their own specialization. All courses offered examine issues and activities inherent to the field of Women's Studies. Students select an area of concentration like Women in the Arts; Women, Science and Health; Women and Politics, Women and Sports; and Women and International Studies . Professional Opportunities Graduates of the Women's Studies program are well prepared to enter a variety of professional fields including politics, education, community organization and more. They often develop careers working for non-governmental organizations, commissions on the status of women, and national and international organizations that work on behalf of women and families.
