Courses meet on the St. Norbert College campus during the summer and one evening a week during each semester. It is a cohort-based program that admits up to 24 students every two years. All courses are taught by full-time education faculty. Why Choose the St. Norbert College Master of Science in Education Program? Are you ready to take the next step in your educational career? St. Norbert College has the program for you. We offer a high quality Master of Science in Education (MSE) degree that is both accessible and affordable for the full-time teacher. As a member of a cohort, you will engage in on-going discussions with other professionals: becoming a community of learners. You will develop leadership skills while acquiring the knowledge and expertise necessary to advocate for educational reform within your chosen area of interest. The Master of Science in Education is a two-year cohort-based program consisting of 27 hours of graduate study. Each cohort begins during the summer of an even numbered year (2006, 2008, 2010) taking 6 credits of course work in three weeks. Each semester during the school year, students will take one 3-credit course one evening a week. Up to six graduate credits may be accepted in transfer as replacement for the courses taught during the second summer.
