Both majors are designed to offer students a theoretical and a practical mix of course work related to human expression, and both majors prepare students for work in the business of broadcasting as well as for graduate study. All Communication Arts majors are able to take courses in five areas of communication: speech , journalism, film, video, and radio. Exciting internship opportunities are available to majors in their junior or senior years with professional broadcasting companies, public relations firms, newspapers, and magazines.
