Students will have understanding and practice of experimental nature of physical science in fundamental areas corresponding to broad survey of topics. The Physics Department provides courses for students pursuing careers in research (in both academia and industry), teaching, engineering, and medicine. The Physics Education program certifies students for careers as secondary school physics teachers.
