The SCAD School of Fashion's Style Lab mentorship program offers select students the opportunity to work one-on-one with industry professionals such as Zac Posen and Catherine Malandrino. International media, including The New York Times and Women's Wear Daily, attend and cover the annual SCAD Fashion show, a juried collection of undergraduate and graduate work. Vast resources for research and reference SCAD students work in state-of-the-art facilities with access to resources that enhance their foundational study. Beyond mastering the technical aspects of fashion, students learn the art and history of fashion through decades' worth of magazines, as well as current reference books and other research material in the SCAD library and through the SCAD Museum of Art. In addition to a full complement of industry-standard equipment, SCAD students have access to a garment reference library and a materials room that allows for research and development.
