Building on the solid foundation of the Business Core program, students and their faculty advisors design an 18 credit upper division business program that builds competence in functional areas of the student?s choosing. Students who complete at least nine upper division credits in a single discipline or functional area (e.g., accounting, finance, marketing, etc.) will have that discipline or functional area identified on the degree as an Emphasis. Students may also, with advisor approval, take nine or more credits in a single career-related discipline from another department of the college (e.g., Environmental Studies, Computer Science, Digital Arts Outdoor Recreation, etc.) and have that identified as an Emphasis on their BSBA degree .
