Apply appropriate sections of the applicable Fire and Building Codes addressing fire protection issues and safety. Apply the principles of managing fire protection risk and the control of fire hazards. Apply the appropriate NFPA Fire Protection Standards in addressing fire protection needs and problems. Be able to determine point of origin and cause of a fire . Recognized the role building construction, interior finishes and modern construction materials have on fire protection and fire safety. Address the needs of various fire protection delivery systems and develop a strategic plan to address those needs.
