Located in the capital of New York State, the University offers several internship opportunities with government agencies and other institutions for the purpose of providing practical training and experience. In addition, there are various opportunities to work closely with faculty on funded research projects. Nearly all graduates of the program have obtained positions as professional economists. Many Ph.D. recipients teach in colleges and universities in the U.S. and abroad.
