Our master's in natural science allows you to: develop the knowledge, skills, experience and credentials to pursue a successful career in your field; have easy access to the 6 million acre Adirondack National Park and Lake Champlain to conduct your field research; advance your career in the sciences; study with faculty that are actively involved in research. Master of Science (M.S.) in Natural Science (30 credits) Students entering the M.S. program choose a major concentration in one of three areas: environmental sciences, biology and chemistry. Within those concentrations, they can work with current faculty who are conducting research in a variety of areas. Current program strengths are in ecology/field biology and biochemistry. The program is supported by three departments (earth and environmental sciences , biology and chemistry) and administered by the Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
