I totally understand your situation, me to I am interested in such a course but I don't have time do do it in two semesters. I don't have children, but I am 120% submersed in my job :) Earning a Film making degree would be a fantastic step forward in my career, so if anyone knows the answer of this question I wold also like to know it.

Digital Filmmaking from SUNY Westchester Community College is a Campus Associate Film degree that prepares you for a Art and Design career. The Associate of Science Degree in Digital Filmmaking prepares students to take advantage of the new opportunities available in this rapidly-changing, multi-disciplinary field by providing them with foundational knowledge and skills in four key areas: film studies, cinematic storytelling, digital video production, and postproduction. The A.S. Degree is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career in film or to transfer to a four-year B.A. or B.F.A. program in film production or cinema studies. Transfer agreements are in place with SUNY Purchase, Brooklyn College, and New York University. Students enrolled in the program acquire a solid basis in cinema history and theory, film aesthetics, screenwriting, camera operation, lighting, digital editing, and digital effects. In addition to these core courses, students may choose from a wide range of electives, including courses in acting, stagecraft, animation, and sound design. Production and postproduction courses are taught by practicing film professionals on state-of-the-art equipment. An optional internship offers students the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in the industry. The program offers film studies courses at the main campus in Valhalla and at several extension locations. It offers video production and postproduction courses in state-of-the-art labs and studios at the college's Center for the Digital Arts in Peekskill, which hosts more than 100 Apple postproduction stations with high-end peripherals and a technical support staff.
