Students are required to complete the Core Modules before progressing to other fields of study. These two modules take about eight months to complete and the student is eligible for the Industrial Maintenance Helper Certificate . The student must then choose at least two of the five elective modules offered to be eligible to receive the Industrial Maintenance Technician Diploma. The student may elect to take all five elective modules which will increase his knowledge and extend his time until graduation. Each elective module takes about four months to complete. They include Programmable Logic Controls, Welding, Machine Tool, HVAC, and Drafting/Computer-aided Drafting.
