Selected classes are tailored to prepare students for portions of these certification tests. Departmental faculty are actively engaged in research and publish regularly in scholarly journals. Areas of faculty expertise include economic impact modeling, forensic economics, tax law changes, earnings disclosures, competitive strategy, investment strategy, financial markets, applied econometrics and mutual fund investing.
