Our majors have invaluable opportunities to intern in the nation's seventh-largest media market, which is home to professional teams in baseball, basketball, football, hockey and soccer. The area also hosts annual PGA, NASCAR, and IRL events. Students learn all aspects of sports production, including producing, directing, writing, editing and announcing. You will receive hands-on training pertaining to television, radio and online communications in order to become an effective member of the sports broadcasting community.
