The concept of the seamless classroom whereby students continue their learning outside the walls of the classroom is a reality in our program. To promote the students' professional development, the students have participated in assessing clients in the community, designing community enhancement projects, and collaborating with faculty, area clinicians, and local agencies to synthesize academic and clinical learning. Students have the opportunity to be involved with the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) to further enhance professional leadership skills and community service experiences.
