International Relations from The College of Wooster is a Campus Bachelor International Relations degree that prepares you for a Human Services career. The field of International Relations explores the behavior of governments, international institutions, multinational corporations, non-governmental organizations, and sub-national groups. International Relations scholars investigate the rich complexity of relationships between the actors--political, economic, historical, geographical, and cultural--that characterize today's world. In addition, we seek to understand the enormous tide of recent changes in the international system that have made this discipline more intellectually challenging and more relevant to our daily lives than ever before. The College of Wooster's International Relations Program is an Interdisciplinary Program drawing on courses, faculty, and other resources from the Economics, History, and Political Science Departments. Learning Goals for International Relations Students will acquire an interdisciplinary understanding of International Relations that provides political, economic, and historical perspectives on global issues. Students will attain detailed knowledge in one core area of international relations through focused methodological training and research. Student will develop cross-cultural communication skills, which will allow them to move beyond their native experiences and build an understanding of different cultures.
