Electroneurodiagnostic Technology from The Community College of Baltimore County is a Campus Associate Electroencephalographic degree that prepares you for a Healthcare career. This program prepares graduates to operate highly specialized equipment that measures and records the electrical activity of the brain. EEG tracings are used by the physician to evaluate brain disorders such as epilepsy and tumors. Other tests include nerve conduction studies, evoked potential, and polysomnograms. This program is articulated with Harford Community College. Students complete all science and general education requirements for the program at CCBC. The clinical training component of the program will be provided on the Harford Community College campus and at various clinical sites throughout the metropolitan area. Students participating in this program will transfer credits to Harford Community College and must graduate from there in accordance with the accreditation requirements of the Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program. Admission to this program is a separate process from admission to the college. Admission to CCBC does not imply admission to Harford Community College or to the EEG program at Harford Community College. This program has been designated as "Statewide" at Harford Community College (HCC) by the Maryland Higher Education Commission. Out-of-county residents who are admitted to the Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program at HCC and enrolled in this program may be eligible for a partial refund of the difference between in-county and out-of-county tuition.
