General Education Master from University at Buffalo details

Program Format: Campus Program Level: Master

General Education from University at Buffalo is a Campus Master Education Science degree that prepares you for a Education career. The Department of Counseling, School, and Educational Psychology (CSEP) has developed a Masters of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling that is designed to meet the requirements for licensure in mental health counseling in the state of New York. Because the final regulations of the licensure law have not yet been finalized by the Board of Regents, SUNY has requested that CSEP delay the review/approval of its Mental Health Counseling degree program for review and approval. While we are in this transition phase CSEP has decided to admit prospective mental health counseling students into a "General Education" masters degree (Ed.M.) because we believe that the regulations will be finalized, and the degree program approved by fall 2005.
