The program capstone requires students to apply acquired analytical skills and modes of enquiry across regions, societies, and cultures in a comparative examination of various topics. To further develop their global competence, students majoring in International Studies will have the option to participate in study abroad or an approved internship. Students must petition to fulfill major requirements with study abroad or internship credits. Students who complete a bachelor's of International Studies will gain an understanding of the challenges and complexities of cross-cultural interactions in an increasingly interconnected world.
