The degree program requires 35 semester credit hours of online course work and includes more than 480 hours in a supervised clinical practicum. Prerequisite courses can be completed through the University of Missouri Center for Distance and Independent Study or through another university or college. This degree program is for nurses who have earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing . Registered nurses with an Associate's Degree in Nursing may complete the online RN-to-BSN Outreach Option and then move to the master's program, provided graduate admission requirements are met. Students with an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and a combined GRE score of 1500 are encouraged to apply. Students whose GPA or GRE scores are less than the requirement may be evaluated individually.
