Christian Missions from Allegheny Wesleyan College is a Campus Bachelor Religious Studies degree that prepares you for a Liberal Arts career. The Christian Missions program is designed to prepare the student to serve in the missionary outreach of the Christian faith. Courses are chosen to provide foundational knowledge in Bible, theology, general education, pastoral and Christian ministries, intercultural communication and languages. The student, upon completion of the requirements of this program, will: 1. Articulate a knowledge and appreciation of the theology of missions. 2. Evidence an understanding of various kinds of missionary service and the accompanying challenges, methods and problems in light of Scripture and contemporary thought; learn language skills; develop a sound attitude toward the work and the people involved. 5.
