Option One is for those students that may wish to obtain the highest degree offered. Option Two is for those students that do not plan to obtain the AAS Degree. Option One consists of 6 SCH of General Education courses, 3 SCH of Internship and 15 SCH of Paralegal courses. Option Two consists of 24 SCH of Paralegal Courses, which may include 3 SCH of internship. Some use the name Paralegal and Legal Assistant interchangeably. However, the college reserves the name Paralegal for these who complete the Internship and the courses needed for the Paralegal AAS Degree or Paralegal Diploma.
