The Paralegal AAS Degree Program will be approximately four semesters (two academic years) in length. Course requirements for this program are as follows: 15 SCH of General Education courses, 39 SCH of Paralegal Courses, and 10 SCH of Internship experience. This degree is only offered at sites with ten or more enrolled students. Take note that if you wish to complete the AAS Degree program you must plan ahead. Make sure that you complete requirements for the Associate's Degree in previous programs. It should be noted that students attending the New Orleans or Hammond site locations who wish to obtain an AAS Degree must have 15 semester credit hours of general education credit approved for transfer. General education courses are not offered at these sites, unless ten or more students are enrolled in general education offerings.
