Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology Baccalaureate degree graduates will demonstrate additional depth and breadth to the program educational objectives stated above. In addition, the following accomplishments are also expected of baccalaureate degree graduates. 1. Graduates perform analysis, design, and implementation of control systems, microprocessor systems, communication systems, and power systems. 2. To provide breadth for additional job opportunities, graduates utilize rigorous mathematics applications and productivity software in support of electrical/electronics systems. 3. Graduates apply project management techniques in product design and development. Program Outcomes The Electrical Engineering Technology program publishes the following program outcomes to describe what students are expected to know and do at the time of graduation. These relate to knowledge, skills, and behaviors that students acquire in the program. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology 1. Students perform analysis and design in the control systems, microprocessor systems, communications systems and computer systems of the field of electrical engineering . 2. Students apply rigorous mathematics including applications of applied differential equations to the solutions to problems in electrical/electronics systems. 3. Students apply project management skills in a product design, development, and implementation environment process in electrical systems. 4. Students plan and prepare design and operation documents for an electrical system. 5. Students select appropriate devices and practices. 6. Students maintain an understanding of professional practice issues such as interaction between designers, developers, and customers.
