Education from Century Community and Technical College is a Campus Associate Education Science degree that prepares you for a Education career. Century's Education program provides both the foundation for upper division coursework for those planning to become a teacher, as well as opportunities to earn either a certificate or a two-year degree in paraeducation. Program option include: Education AS Degree (64 credits) Our education courses are interdisciplinary and will provide hands-on experience to help you gain the strategies and skills needed for the world of professional education . At Century, you'll develop a professional portfolio and work at a public school during your first year. Century College is also the sponsor of three public charter schools, which provide a direct link to K-12 teachers. In addition to enjoying small class sizes, you will have the opportunity to form professional relationships with Century faculty and staff, who are also K-12 licensed teachers and administrators. And, you can now complete a four-year teaching degree without having to leave the Century College campus. Century's articulation agreements can offer you a bachelor???s degree in a variety of professional education teaching areas. The Century College professional education portfolio is a model program for other colleges and universities.
