The program prepares the technician to take the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification Exam for refrigerant recovery, recycling, and reclamation and the Industry Competency Exam (ICE) sponsored by the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute for HVAC/R Technicians .
