The course includes the construction of a full-scale home on an actual job site. You will build an interesting, high-quality home under the close supervision of an experienced instructor who possesses an extensive background in the construction industry. Additional lab activities include mock-up development, shed challenge, and site development. The experience gained through this program is designed to help you enter the construction field as a carpenter, to gain the necessary experience to become a site foreman, coordinator, contractor owner, or work in one of several other construction-related occupations.
