Course Format Selected courses are presented in both traditional and on-line formats. Overview Students receive a total of 160 clock hours of supervised experiences in approved classroom settings during Practicums. They are given the opportunity to observe and to complete practical experiences with children in the learning environment. Seminars give the students the chance to discuss their experiences and share ideas concerning curriculum planning and behavior management. Certification The Early Elementary Paraprofessional program is approved by the State Board of Education as meeting all criteria for preparing individuals for an Educational Paraprofessional Associates license.
