Educational Ministries from Covenant Theological Seminary is a Campus Master Religious Studies degree that prepares you for a Liberal Arts career. Recognizing the Church's need for biblically trained and able support staff, Covenant Seminary offers the Master of Arts in Educational Ministries (MAEM) degree to train students in understanding and applying principles of theology and educational theory. Covenant Seminary believes that the covenant community is one of the Church's greatest witnesses for the gospel, and this degree trains students to work in non-ordained church leadership roles to create and nurture that community. Distinctives of the MAEM Covenant Seminary's MAEM program enables students to integrate classroom theory with practical application of biblical and educational principles in a ministry setting. Dedicated to the need for theologically equipped support staff in a variety of ministries, Covenant Seminary leads its MAEM students through an exploration of the local body of Christ and how the Church can minister to and build up the body to serve God's Kingdom. Because this degree is designed to assist people who are often actively involved in ministry, a significant portion of the degree may be completed through the Distance Education program. Integrated Training The Master of Arts in Educational Ministries requires students to participate in active ministry as they progress through the program. Students complete 150 hours of field education during this degree . In this way, the Seminary forges an alliance with the Church in the training of individuals who will lead support ministries. This alliance provides students with a well-rounded understanding of the role of educational ministries in advancing the Kingdom. View more details on Covenant Theological Seminary .
