In addition to their graduate training, faculty members bring to Furman a variety of experiences from such areas as law, the Peace Corps, business (in the United States and abroad), music and secondary education. All faculty are active scholars who frequently collaborate with students on research projects, and students regularly work with faculty as teaching assistants and in course development.
