Mission Statement The Mission of the History/Pre-Law program is to lay a foundation of knowledge which will prepare students for entrance into law school and/or graduate studies in history. This program places special emphasis upon encouraging students to assume positions of Christian leadership in their chosen fields of endeavor. What course of study will be followed? No specific course of study is required for those who would desire to enter Law School. Requirements for application to law school are a strong undergraduate record and successful completion of the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test). However, there are courses of study that are very attractive to law schools. Among these are History and Business. KCU offers each student the opportunity to major in both Bible and History along with a minor in Business and/or other areas which helps to make the student more attractive to many Law Schools. Graduates are now working in the following areas: 1. Participants in major Law Firms 2. Private Practice 3. Operating successful Business Enterprises Why does KCU offer this opportunity? We want to provide young men and women who wish to pursue the law or activities related to history as a vocation to do so with a Christian perspective in their Undergraduate education. For what does this course of study prepare the student? 1. With the Bible major, all students will be equipped to better serve the Lord in their local congregations, as well as make their workplace a place of ministry. 2. Those wishing to enter Law School will have Undergraduate course work which is very appealing to Law Schools. 3.
