Applied Mathematics from Lehigh University is a Campus Master Mathematics degree that prepares you for a Education career. The Department of Mathematics combines world-class research with dedication to teaching. With almost 25 full-time faculty and approximately 30 full-time graduate students close contact between faculty and students is the norm. Many of our faculty have international reputations for their work and all are mathematically active. Our research areas include algebra, analysis, differential equations, discrete mathematics, geometry, logic, mathematical biology, number theory, probability, statistics, and topology. The Journal of Differential Geometry was founded at Lehigh by Emeritus Professor C.-C. Hsiung in 1966 and has been published by us ever since. We have an active colloquium and seminar series, and a distinguished lecture series, the Pitcher Lectures (named to honor Emeritus Professor A. Everett Pitcher). The Lehigh Geometry/Topology Conference is held here most springs.
