Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues using appropriate knowledge of psychology. 4. Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal communication skills using both the written and spoken word. 5. Assist in patient education related to pharmacology, disease and nutrition. 6. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the legal and ethical standards and dilemmas facing the medical profession. 7.
