Theatre from Roanoke College is a Campus Bachelor Theatre degree that prepares you for a Art and Design career. Welcome to Theatre Roanoke College . Along with the Art and Music Programs, we are located in Olin Hall for the Fine Arts. Our proscenium Main Stage has a house capacity of 400, the outdoor Amphitheatre has seating for 200, and the Studio Theatre, a capacity of 80. In addition to course work in acting, technical, and academic theatre courses, theatre majors are expected to attend extracurricular theatre events, and to participate in at least four shows while they are at Roanoke. The traditional season begins with a Fall show, followed by a Winter show and a Spring Show, and is concluded with our Summer Stock \\\"Theatre Under the Stars.\\\" There are numerous opportunities for students to expand and experiment in areas not covered in the required courses or in the traditional season. Independent Studies are looked upon with favor and are tailored to fit the goals and needs of the individual.
