Produce a variety of business documents using correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling in a format acceptable in today's business environment. Apply general business management principles in assisting an administrator. Use the alphabetic, geographic, numeric, and subject methods of filing in storing and retrieving records both manually and electronically. Apply general accounting principles and concepts in analyzing, recording, summarizing, and reporting data related to business transactions. Apply mathematical concepts and methods to understand, analyze, and solve mathematical problems necessary to perform job-related tasks. Communicate information effectively using a variety of written, spoken, and/or visual methods. Demonstrate knowledge of accepted ethical behavior, and interpersonal skills that reflect an understanding of diversity and the need for teamwork.
