Once we receive your transcript evaluation from the Graduate School, we will determine if you meet the criteria to be interviewed. If your GPA is at least 3.0 in your undergraduate course work (cumulative) OR in your major OR in your upper division course work and you have submitted all required documents, you are eligible to be interviewed and to take from 6 to 9 hours during the semester in which you are interviewed. Please refer to the New Student Information Form (also attached) which explains the interview and acceptance process in greater detail. The master's degree in Special Education is not sufficient to be certified as a Special Education teacher.
