A graduate of the Automotive Body Repair program should be able to: Demonstrate technical skills that meet safety and quality work standards in the industry. Understand the health hazards of modern paint systems and demonstrate proper handling, protective procedures and maintaining records. Mix and apply modern multi-component paint systems. Diagnose primary mechanical damage and perform basic removal of affected parts, repair and re-install the parts or install new parts. Test, adjust and align modern automotive suspension systems. Demonstrate skill in verbal communications and the ability to organize ideas in a logical manner when dealing with customers.
